Brie Larson was born on October 1, 1989, in Sacramento, California, United States. Her birth name is Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers. She has a sister named Milaine Desaulniers. She began studying theater at the age of six, marking the early foundations of her artistic career.

In addition to her acting career, Brie Larson is also a professional singer. In 2014, she appeared in the feature film The Gambler, where she starred alongside Mark Wahlberg and John Goodman.
