His mother, Donna Gosling, worked as a secretary, while his father, Thomas Ray Gosling, was a traveling salesman. He has an older sister named Mandi Gosling. During his childhood, the family moved to Cornwall, Ontario, where he completed his primary education at “Gladstone Public School” and “Collegiate and Vocational School.” He later attended “Lester B. Pearson High School” in Burlington. At the age of 16, he relocated to Los Angeles, California.
