Bradley Cooper was born on January 5, 1975, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. His mother, Gloria Campano, worked for a local NBC affiliate, while his father, Charles Cooper, was a stockbroker. He graduated from Germantown Academy in 1993. Cooper then attended Villanova University before transferring to Georgetown University, where he graduated in 1997. During his studies at Georgetown, he spent six months in France as part of a student exchange program.



Bradley Cooper began his acting career in 1999 with the television series Sex and the City. He gained wider recognition in 2001 with his role in the TV series Alias. His breakthrough in cinema came with the 2010 film Valentine's Day, which significantly increased his popularity. Earlier, in 2008, he appeared alongside Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel in Yes Man.

In 2009, Bradley Cooper starred in The Hangover alongside Zach Galifianakis, achieving massive international success. The film became a cultural phenomenon and led to two sequels: The Hangover Part II in 2011 and The Hangover Part III in 2013, all featuring the same main cast and continuing the franchise’s success.

Bradley Cooper married actress Jennifer Esposito on December 21, 2006; the couple divorced on November 10, 2007. From September 2010 to March 2011, he was in a relationship with actress Renée Zellweger. He later dated Zoe Saldana, whom he met on the set of The Words. Cooper also had a relationship with model Suki Waterhouse. After April 2015, he began a relationship with model Irina Shayk, and in March 2017, their daughter Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper was born.
