Nicholas Hoult was born on December 7, 1989, in Wokingham, England, as the son of Glenis Brown and Roger Hoult. His full name is Nicholas Caradoc Hoult. He grew up in a large family and has four siblings: James (born 1977), Rosie (born 1984), Clarista Hoult (born 1992), and another sibling named James is also referenced within the family. From an early age, he showed a strong interest in performance and received professional acting training at the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London.



Nicholas Hoult began his acting career at a very young age and gained international attention in 2002 with his role as Marcus Brewer in the film About a Boy, where he starred alongside Rachel Weisz, Hugh Grant, Toni Collette, and Natalia Tena.
