The Fate of the Furious (2017)
Official Trailer
Plot Summary
Having left their criminal past behind, the crew decides to embrace a calmer, law-abiding life. Dom (Vin Diesel) and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) celebrate their marriage on a honeymoon, while Brian (Paul Walker) and Mia (Jordana Brewster) choose retirement over adrenaline-fueled adventures. With charges cleared and wounds healed, the team slowly returns to a sense of normalcy as they travel the world together.
This fragile peace is shattered by the arrival of Cipher (Charlize Theron), a mysterious and highly dangerous cyberterrorist who sets her sights on Dom. Manipulating him back into the criminal underworld, she succeeds in turning him against the people he loves most. The rules of the game are suddenly reversed: Dom now stands on the opposite side, forcing the team to confront one of their own.
The only way to stop Dom and uncover the truth is for the remaining members of the family to unite once more and chase him across continents. Directed by F. Gary Gray, the eighth installment of the Fast & Furious saga features an ensemble cast including Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Charlize Theron, Lucas Black, and Kurt Russell, pushing the franchise into darker emotional territory while escalating its trademark global action.
