Plot Summary

John Wick: Chapter 4 follows the story of John Wick, who is forced to confront a powerful new enemy while continuing his fight against the vast criminal organization known as the High Table. Wick discovers a possible way to defeat the High Table, but before he can earn his freedom, he must face a new adversary: The Marquis, a ruthless figure who forges strong global alliances and turns John’s former friends into enemies. If John wants to survive, he must push his skills beyond their limits.

In the first film, John Wick (Keanu Reeves) unleashes relentless vengeance after his puppy is killed, leaving a trail of bodies in his wake. The second installment moves the story to Rome, where the cycle of revenge continues amid stylish settings and deadly confrontations.

In the third chapter, Wick is excommunicated from the secret assassin society, and his death sentence is issued. With a bounty placed on his head, assassins hunt him across the globe, forcing John to kill in order to stay alive. In the fourth chapter, Wick faces his newest and most dangerous enemy yet: The Marquis (Bill Skarsgård). Determined to regain his freedom, dismantle the High Table, and defeat this formidable opponent, John must once again test the absolute limits of his abilities.

Known in the underworld as “Baba Yaga,” John Wick does not slow down in this fourth installment—running, shooting, and killing without mercy as hundreds more fall in his quest for revenge. John Wick: Chapter 4 also introduces a range of new allies and adversaries, including the blind assassin Donnie Yen, the grotesque gambler Scott Adkins, the operator Clancy Brown, the honorable hotel manager Hiroyuki Sanada, and his daughter, portrayed by Rina Sawayama.
