Jesse Eisenberg was born on October 5, 1983, in Queens, New York City, United States, as the son of Barry Eisenberg and Amy Fishman, an Ashkenazi Jewish couple. His mother worked professionally as a children’s birthday party clown. He has two sisters, Hallie Eisenberg and Kerri Eisenberg. Jesse Eisenberg grew up in East Brunswick Township, New Jersey, where he spent most of his childhood.

Musically inclined from an early age, Jesse Eisenberg has been playing the drums since the age of eight. He attended Churchill Junior High School, Hammarskjold Middle School, The New School, and East Brunswick High School. During these years, he developed a strong interest in acting and performance alongside his academic studies.

In 2015, Jesse Eisenberg starred alongside Amy Ryan and Ruby Jerins in the drama film Louder Than Bombs. His career reached a major blockbuster milestone in 2016 when he portrayed Lex Luthor, one of Superman’s most iconic enemies, in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In the film, he appeared alongside Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, and Jason Momoa.
