Story Overview

Underworld: Awakening marks the explosive return of Selene, who escapes imprisonment only to awaken into a radically transformed world. The film is directed by Swedish duo Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein, previously known for their work on Storm (2005) and Shelter (2010). The screenplay is penned by Len Wiseman, the original architect of the franchise. Kate Beckinsale reprises her iconic role as Selene, joined this time by Charles Dance, Michael Ealy, and India Eisley, who add new dimensions to the evolving mythology of the series.
