Plot Summary

Still Alice tells the deeply moving story of Alice Howland, a renowned linguistics professor at Columbia University whose intellectually vibrant life is abruptly disrupted when she is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.

As the illness gradually begins to erode her memory and cognitive abilities, Alice is forced to confront a reality she initially refuses to accept.
