Plot Summary

Once again stepping out of the shadows, Machete Kills follows former agent Machete Cortez, a man whose reputation has elevated him to near-legendary status within the United States intelligence world. When a new and exceptionally dangerous mission arises, Machete is dispatched to Mexico, where chaos, corruption, and extreme violence rule every corner.

His objective is as clear as it is nearly impossible: neutralize a weapon capable of annihilating the entire planet and eliminate its unhinged owner, the notorious arms dealer Mendez the Madman (Demian Bichir). As Machete dives deeper into the assignment, he finds himself trapped in a ruthless network of criminals, power brokers, and mercenaries, each more dangerous than the last.

Balancing exaggerated action with a self-aware grindhouse tone, Machete Kills escalates the franchise’s trademark style—hyper-violent confrontations, dark humor, and relentless pacing.
