Plot Summary

Justice League begins in the aftermath of Superman’s sacrifice, an event that deeply shakes Bruce Wayne’s faith in humanity and forces him to confront a threat far greater than anything he has faced before. Realizing that the world is vulnerable without its greatest protector, Bruce seeks the help of his new ally, Diana Prince. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman prepare to stand against an ancient evil that has begun to awaken, threatening the very existence of the planet.

With renewed belief in mankind, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) and Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) move quickly to assemble a team of extraordinary individuals capable of facing this looming catastrophe. Among those they recruit are the lightning-fast Barry Allen / The Flash, the reluctant ruler of the seas Arthur Curry / Aquaman, and the technologically enhanced Victor Stone / Cyborg. Each brings unique powers, but also personal doubts about becoming part of a united front.

As Batman senses a dark force rising across the world, he understands that even a team of metahumans—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and Flash—may not be enough. Haunted by recent losses and aware that time is running out, the group comes to a painful conclusion: they need Superman more than ever. Risking everything, they attempt to bring him back to life, knowing that if this ultimate evil is not stopped, humanity may face total annihilation.
