Story Overview

Jumanji: The Next Level follows the return of a group of young friends who once survived the deadly challenges of the Jumanji game, only to find themselves pulled back inside once again—this time to save one of their own. When Spencer mysteriously disappears, the group realizes that the game is far from finished with them.

Determined to rescue their friend, the team willingly re-enters Jumanji, but quickly discovers that the rules have changed. Nothing inside the game resembles what they remember. Familiar characters are altered, avatars are mismatched, and the environment has expanded far beyond expectations—stretching from icy mountain peaks to scorching desert landscapes filled with unpredictable dangers.

As if surviving the game were not difficult enough, an unexpected complication arises when Spencer’s grandfather Eddie (Danny DeVito) and his friend Milo (Danny Glover) are accidentally dragged into the game as well. Completely unaware of how Jumanji works or how lethal it can be, the newcomers add chaos, humor, and urgency to an already perilous mission.

With time running out and the game becoming more unforgiving than ever, the group must adapt to new avatars, unfamiliar abilities, and constantly shifting terrain. Balancing teamwork, sacrifice, and resilience, Jumanji: The Next Level raises the stakes higher than before, asking whether friendship alone is enough to survive a game that refuses to play fair.
