Plot Summary

Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) follows the chaotic aftermath of Harley Quinn’s separation from the Joker, as Gotham’s criminal underworld turns against her. With no protection left, Harley becomes a prime target in a city ruled by fear, corruption, and violence.

The situation escalates when a young girl named Cassandra Cain becomes the focus of a ruthless manhunt orchestrated by Gotham’s sadistic crime lord Roman Sionis. His obsessive pursuit of the girl plunges the city into disorder, drawing multiple unlikely figures into the same deadly conflict.

As danger intensifies, Harley Quinn’s path crosses with Helena Bertinelli, Dinah Laurel Lance, and Renee Montoya. Each woman has her own history with Gotham’s brutality, and survival soon depends on cooperation rather than solitude.

Forced into an uneasy alliance, the group must confront Roman Sionis and dismantle his criminal empire. What follows is a fast-paced blend of stylized action, dark humor, and rebellion, as these women reclaim control of their lives while redefining what it means to fight back in a city built on chaos.
