Plot Summary

The Bucket List centers on two men from vastly different worlds whose lives unexpectedly intersect at the most critical moment. Carter Chambers, portrayed by Morgan Freeman, is a quiet, thoughtful man who once dreamed of exploring life’s deeper meanings. Decades of responsibility, family obligations, and a long career as a mechanic have gradually pushed those dreams aside, leaving his youthful “now or never” list as little more than a distant memory.

Edward Cole, played by Jack Nicholson, is a sharp-tongued billionaire who has spent his life building an empire. Wealth and power have defined his existence, yet they have also narrowed his perspective.
