Plot Summary

Se7en follows two homicide detectives assigned to a series of brutal and meticulously planned murders that shock a rain-soaked, decaying city. The killer, believing himself to be an instrument of divine justice, is determined to cleanse the world of sin by punishing those who embody the seven deadly sins.

Veteran detective William Somerset (Morgan Freeman), weary and deeply disillusioned, is partnered with the impulsive and idealistic David Mills (Brad Pitt).
