Plot Summary

After a brief loss of consciousness, Dr. Lawrence Gordon (Cary Elwes) awakens to a horrifying reality: he is chained by the ankle to a pipe inside a filthy, abandoned bathroom. Across the room, another man, Adam (Leigh Whannell), finds himself in the same nightmarish predicament. Neither man knows how they got there, nor why they were chosen.

Soon, it becomes clear that they are pawns in the twisted game of a meticulous serial killer who designs elaborate traps to test his victims’ will to live. With only six hours on the clock, a hacksaw, and a single bullet, Dr. Gordon must make an impossible choice—discover his own path to freedom or lose his wife and daughter, who are being held hostage by the unseen mastermind.

Meanwhile, Detective David Tapp (Danny Glover), himself a survivor of one of the killer’s earlier traps, relentlessly follows the trail of clues. As his investigation draws him closer to the truth, the boundaries between hunter and victim blur, pulling him deeper into the sadistic game.
