Plot Summary

Set in 1990s Minnesota, Regression centers on a disturbing accusation that shakes a quiet community. A father, John Gray (Ethan Hawke), is accused of sexually abusing his teenage daughter. Strikingly, John claims to have no memory of committing the crime, yet he chooses to accept the charges without resistance, plunging both his family and the town into confusion and moral panic.

Assigned to the case, psychologist Dr. Raines (David Thewlis) attempts to help John recover his suppressed memories through controversial therapeutic techniques.
