Story Overview

Jumper follows David Rice (Hayden Christensen), a young man who discovers he possesses a rare and extraordinary ability: he can instantly teleport himself to any place he can vividly imagine. By tearing through the fabric of space and time, David escapes the limitations of ordinary life, moving effortlessly across continents, cultures, and borders. From ancient landmarks to modern metropolises, the world becomes his personal playground, offering freedom without consequences.

For years, David uses this power solely for personal gain—avoiding painful memories, amassing wealth, and indulging in a life without responsibility. He believes himself to be unique, untouchable, and immune to danger. This illusion begins to crumble when he encounters Griffin (Jamie Bell), another individual gifted with the same ability, whose reckless nature and deeper knowledge hint at a much larger truth behind their powers.

David soon learns that he is not an anomaly, but part of an ancient genetic lineage known as “Jumpers.” Even more unsettling, their existence has long been targeted by a secretive and ruthless organization determined to eradicate them. As centuries-old conflicts resurface, David finds himself thrust into a hidden global war, where survival demands more than the ability to jump—it requires confronting destiny, identity, and the cost of absolute freedom.
