Plot Summary

Based on a true story, Goodfellas chronicles the rise and fall of Henry Hill (Ray Liotta), a small-time gangster who grows up idolizing the power and glamour of organized crime. Drawn into the world of the mafia at a young age, Henry becomes closely associated with two ambitious and dangerous criminals: the calculating Jimmy Conway (Robert De Niro) and the volatile, unpredictable Tommy De Vito (Joe Pesci).
