Official Trailer

Plot Summary

Ender's Game is a futuristic science fiction epic set in the year 2070, following humanity’s desperate struggle for survival after a devastating alien invasion. Earth has been attacked by an extraterrestrial species known as the “Buggers,” forcing mankind to unite against a common, existential threat.

In response, an elite international military force called IF is established to prepare for an inevitable final confrontation. Children with extraordinary intelligence and strategic instincts are selected and trained through intense simulations designed to mold them into future commanders. Among them is Andrew Ender Wiggin, a quiet but exceptionally gifted boy whose tactical brilliance quickly sets him apart from his peers.

As Ender rises through the ranks, he is pushed to psychological and emotional limits far beyond his age. The line between training and reality gradually blurs, raising profound questions about morality, leadership, manipulation, and the true cost of victory. What appears to be a game may in fact determine the fate of the human race.

Adapted from the novel by Orson Scott Card, the film is written and directed by Gavin Hood, who previously won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film with his 2005 feature Tsotsi. Ender's Game blends large-scale spectacle with intimate character drama, offering a thought-provoking exploration of war, responsibility, and the loss of innocence in the face of global survival.
