Plot Summary

Chaos Theory follows the meticulously organized life of Frank Allen (Ryan Reynolds), a professional efficiency expert whose entire world revolves around schedules, precision, and strict routines. Frank believes that every moment of life can be optimized if one simply follows the rules of time management. His carefully structured existence seems perfect—until a small, unexpected disruption throws everything into disarray.

When his loving but free-spirited wife Susan (Emily Mortimer) sets his clock forward as a harmless attempt to make him relax, the change triggers a chain reaction of events that spirals completely out of Frank’s control.
