Story Overview

Black Snake Moan is a gritty Southern drama about two shattered people whose lives collide under brutal circumstances. Lazarus (Samuel Jackson), a deeply religious former blues musician devastated by betrayal, discovers Rae (Christina Ricci) abandoned, beaten, and nearly broken on the side of the road.
