Plot Summary

X-Men: Dark Phoenix presents the X-Men facing their most formidable and deeply personal threat yet—one of their own, Jean Grey. During a space rescue mission, Jean is struck by a mysterious cosmic force that nearly kills her. When she returns to Earth, she soon realizes that this energy has not only amplified her powers to unimaginable levels but has also made her dangerously unstable.

As Jean struggles to understand and control the entity growing inside her, she begins to lose her grip on reality. Unable to contain her abilities, she unleashes them in destructive ways, unintentionally harming those she loves most. Her loss of control fractures the emotional and ideological bonds that hold the X-Men together, pushing the team toward disintegration.

With the group divided, the remaining X-Men must find a way to reunite in the face of an even greater threat.
