Plot Summary

Set in New York City in 1916, Winter's Tale follows the life of Peter Lake, born as the son of Irish immigrants and forced by circumstance to survive as a gifted thief. During a burglary that changes the course of his life, Peter unexpectedly encounters the beautiful and gentle homeowner Beverly Penn. In that fleeting moment, an all-consuming love ignites between them, powerful enough to challenge fate itself.

Their romance, however, is tragically short-lived. Beverly soon succumbs to a terminal illness, leaving Peter devastated and unable to release his grief. Haunted by loss and driven by love, Peter’s life takes a supernatural turn when a mysterious event propels him forward in time.
