Story Overview

Set in New York City in 1916, Winter's Tale follows the life of Peter Lake, born as the son of Irish immigrants and forced by circumstance to survive as a gifted thief. During a burglary that changes the course of his life, Peter unexpectedly encounters the beautiful and gentle homeowner Beverly Penn.
