Plot Summary

Four ordinary high school students stumble upon an old video game console containing a mysterious game no one has ever heard of. Curious and excited, they begin to play—only to be instantly transported into the game itself, awakening inside the bodies of their chosen avatars in a dangerous and unfamiliar jungle.

At first, the teens believe they are simply playing Jumanji. It doesn’t take long, however, for them to realize a terrifying truth: they are not controlling the game—they are trapped inside it. Each of them has transformed into a vastly different character, complete with new strengths, weaknesses, and personalities that clash sharply with who they are in real life.

In order to survive and escape, the group must complete the game’s perilous mission. Failure comes with a deadly cost, as each player has a limited number of lives. To avoid being trapped in Jumanji forever, they are forced to rely on teamwork, adaptability, and courage as they face wild creatures, treacherous terrain, and relentless enemies.

A modern continuation of the 1995 cult classic Jumanji, the film stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Nick Jonas as the unlikely heroes navigating this chaotic digital world.
