Plot Summary

Pulp Fiction weaves together multiple crime stories set in the underbelly of Los Angeles, where fate, coincidence, and moral ambiguity collide. At the center is Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis), a prizefighter who decides to break a dangerous deal with a crime boss, choosing survival and pride over an arranged loss in the ring.

Elsewhere, Honey Bunny and Pumpkin (Tim Roth) are a young, impulsive couple of small-time robbers seeking excitement and meaning in their lives. Their reckless desire for action leads them into situations far bigger and more dangerous than they anticipate.

Meanwhile, seasoned hitmen Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) carry out routine jobs for their powerful employer, including confronting petty criminals who have delayed a payoff. While Vincent is also tasked with escorting his boss’s alluring wife for an evening, Jules begins to question his violent lifestyle after a seemingly miraculous incident, contemplating a path toward redemption.
