Story Overview

First Kill follows successful Wall Street broker Will Beeman (Hayden Christensen), who takes his family on a quiet vacation to the remote cabin where he grew up, hoping to reconnect with his son, Danny. During a hunting trip in the woods, Will and Danny witness the aftermath of a botched bank robbery that appears to have ended with a police officer being shot and killed.

Discovering that the wounded man is still alive, Will brings him back to the cabin and helps nurse him back to health. However, once the man recovers, the situation takes a terrifying turn. The stranger, named Levi, kidnaps Danny and reveals himself as a criminal wounded during a failed robbery. Desperate to recover the stolen money and avoid capture, Levi uses the boy as leverage.

With his son’s life at stake, Will is left with no choice but to comply with Levi’s demands and help finish the incomplete heist. As events spiral out of control, Will finds himself drawn into a dangerous confrontation with veteran police chief Howell (Bruce Willis), whose relentless pursuit tightens the net around everyone involved.

Blending family drama with crime-thriller tension, First Kill becomes a deadly game of deception, loyalty, and survival, where it remains uncertain who will outsmart whom in the end. Directed by Steven C. Miller, the film also features performances by Gethin Anthony, Ty Shelton, Megan Leonard, and William DeMeo, delivering a suspense-driven narrative fueled by desperation and moral conflict.
