Plot Summary

Following the explosive events of The Fast and the Furious, former LAPD officer Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) finds himself stripped of his badge and living on the edge in Miami’s underground street racing scene. Still carrying the weight of his past decisions, Brian is offered a chance at redemption: infiltrate the operation of a powerful drug lord in exchange for a clean record.

To complete the mission, Brian recruits his childhood friend Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), a charismatic ex-con with a grudge against authority and a talent for high-risk driving. The two are tasked with transporting illicit money for the ruthless Miami kingpin Carter Verone (Cole Hauser), all while secretly working alongside undercover U.S. Customs agent Monica Clemente (Eva Mendes), who has been embedded deep within Verone’s inner circle.
