Plot Summary

X-Men: Days of Future Past finds the mutant race on the brink of extinction. In a dystopian future, mutants have been imprisoned in camps, relentlessly hunted and exterminated by the deadly Sentinels. With their numbers rapidly diminishing, the survival of the entire species depends on altering a single, pivotal moment in history—one that triggered humanity’s war against mutants.

To prevent this catastrophic future, two lifelong adversaries, Charles Xavier and Magneto, are forced to set aside their differences and unite for a common cause.
