Plot Summary

WAZ plunges the viewer into a grim urban nightmare where mutilated bodies begin to surface across the city’s darkest streets. Some victims are brutally dismembered, others branded with the cryptic symbol “WΔZ” carved into their skin. As the body count rises, the murders reveal a disturbing pattern rooted in psychological cruelty rather than random violence.

Veteran detective Argo (Stellan Skarsgard), hardened by years of exposure to humanity’s most grotesque impulses, leads the investigation alongside his new partner Helen Westcott (Melissa George). While Argo’s emotional detachment and moral exhaustion unsettle Helen, the two are forced into a relentless pursuit of meaning behind the WΔZ equation etched onto the victims’ bodies.
