Plot Summary

Years after leaving the FBI, former agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) have gone their separate ways. Mulder lives in isolation, still obsessed with uncovering the truth, while Scully has pursued a career in medicine, seeking a more grounded and rational life.

When a group of women mysteriously disappear, the FBI turns to an unlikely source for help—a disgraced former priest claiming to receive psychic visions. As the investigation deepens, the bureau reluctantly seeks Mulder’s expertise, pulling him back into a world of conspiracy and the unexplained.
