Plot Summary

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 continues the dystopian saga that began with The Hunger Games and deepened through The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Directed by Francis Lawrence, the film shifts its focus from the arena to the political battlefield, as revolution begins to consume the fractured nation of Panem.

After surviving the brutal Quarter Quell, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) awakens in District 13, a long-hidden stronghold of the resistance.
