Story Overview

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire picks up in the aftermath of the 74th Hunger Games, as Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) return home to District 12 as victors. Their triumph, however, comes at a cost. Victory means embarking on the mandatory Victory Tour across the districts of Panem, where Katniss begins to sense the growing unrest simmering beneath the surface of the oppressed nation.
