Plot Summary

Smokin’ Aces follows Buddy ‘Aces’ Israel (Jeremy Piven), a flashy Las Vegas magician-turned-mob informant who agrees to testify against a powerful mafia boss in exchange for protection. Placed under the FBI’s witness protection program, Buddy is relocated to a luxury hotel, where his chaotic lifestyle continues unchecked among prostitutes, addicts, hustlers, and hangers-on.

As word of Buddy’s cooperation leaks to the criminal underworld, a massive bounty is placed on his head. This triggers a violent race against time, drawing an eclectic and deadly lineup of assassins, hitmen, and gangsters to Las Vegas.
