Plot Summary

Primatologist Davis Okoye (Dwayne Johnson) has dedicated his life to studying and protecting great apes, forming deep bonds with the animals he works with. Among them, none is closer to him than George, an extraordinarily intelligent albino gorilla he rescued and raised from a very young age. Their relationship is built on trust, respect, and an unspoken understanding that goes far beyond professional care.

This bond is violently tested when a catastrophic genetic experiment goes horribly wrong. A failed trial mutates several animals—including George—transforming them into gigantic, uncontrollable monsters that tear through everything in their path. As these genetically altered creatures grow stronger and more aggressive, entire cities are pushed to the brink of destruction.
