Story Overview

Fermat’s Room is a gripping psychological thriller that blends mathematics with suspense, placing four strangers inside a deadly intellectual trap. Each of them—renowned mathematicians brought together under aliases inspired by historical figures—accepts an invitation from a mysterious host known only as “Fermat.” Drawn by curiosity and the promise of solving an extraordinary puzzle, they gather in a secluded house, unaware of the life-threatening game awaiting them.

Once inside a carefully prepared room, everything seems controlled and deliberate—until Fermat abruptly leaves and the door locks behind him. Shortly after, the group receives their first challenge via SMS: a seemingly simple logic problem with a strict time limit. As they struggle to solve it, the stakes escalate dramatically when the walls of the room begin to move inward, slowly crushing the space around them.
