Plot Summary

Ghostbusters: Afterlife follows the adventure of a group of young heroes trying to protect a small town from an approaching supernatural catastrophe. Struggling financially, single mother Callie moves with her children, Trevor and Phoebe, to a remote and abandoned house inherited from her father. As they attempt to adapt to their new life, Trevor soon stumbles upon a mysterious secret tied to the house’s forgotten past.

While exploring their grandfather’s belongings, Trevor and Phoebe discover old equipment hidden away for decades. Piece by piece, they realize that their grandfather was once a member of the legendary Ghostbusters team. Driven by curiosity, the siblings and their new friends begin experimenting with the strange devices—unintentionally awakening an ancient evil that has been dormant beneath the town for years.

As the threat looming over the town grows stronger, the children are no longer simply curious explorers chasing a mystery. They become the next generation of ghost hunters, determined to carry on their grandfather’s unfinished legacy. To save both the world and themselves, they must find the courage to face the supernatural forces rising against them.
