Plot Summary

Eagle vs Shark follows the awkward yet oddly charming life of Lily (Loren Horsley), a socially isolated young woman working at a fast-food restaurant. Despite her kind-hearted nature, she is largely ignored and disliked by her co-workers. Her quiet routine revolves around secretly admiring Jarrod (Jemaine Clement), a peculiar and self-absorbed regular customer.

When Lily learns she is about to lose her job, she finally gathers the courage to speak to Jarrod. Their connection begins at one of Jarrod’s bizarre themed parties, where their shared eccentricities bring them closer together. What starts as an unusual romance quickly evolves into something deeper, though far from conventional.

Driven by a long-held desire for revenge against a childhood bully, Jarrod decides to return to his hometown. Lily, eager for connection and purpose, follows him into this strange journey.
