Plot Summary

Media tycoon Charles Foster Kane (Orson Welles), one of the wealthiest and most powerful figures in America, dies alone in his vast Xanadu estate, uttering a single enigmatic word: “Rosebud.” His mysterious final statement sparks the curiosity of a determined reporter, who sets out to uncover its meaning by interviewing those who knew Kane best.
