Story Overview

Emerging from a remote village in Kazakhstan, Borat (Sacha Baron Cohen) sets out on an ambitious journey to the United States, determined to create a documentary that will showcase American culture for the “benefit” of his homeland. Accompanied by his crude and often bewildered producer Azamat Bagatov (Ken Davitian), Borat embarks on a cross-country expedition filled with unpredictable encounters and cultural misunderstandings.
