Jensen Ross Ackles was born on March 1, 1978, in Dallas, Texas, United States. Before pursuing an acting career, he worked as a model. After graduating from Lloyd V. Berkner High School in 1997, he made his acting debut by appearing in the television series Days of Our Lives.

Jensen Ackles gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Dean Winchester in the long-running television series Supernatural. Through this series, he became closely associated with his co-stars Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins, with whom he developed strong personal friendships. His performance as Dean Winchester played a major role in establishing his global fan base.

In 2003, Jensen Ackles appeared in the television series Dawson’s Creek, where he portrayed the character CJ. He also played Eric Brady in the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives. This role earned him the Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Male Actor in 1998.

Jensen Ackles married Danneel Harris on May 15, 2010. The couple met while working on the film Ten Inch Hero, which marked the beginning of their relationship.
