Charles Leclerc is a Monégasque professional racing driver who competes in Formula 1 for Scuderia Ferrari. He is one of the most prominent drivers of his generation and a multiple-time championship contender.
Charles Leclerc was born on October 16, 1997, in Monte Carlo, Monaco, as the son of Hervé Leclerc and Pascale Leclerc. His full name is Charles Marc Hervé Perceval Leclerc. He has two brothers, Arthur Leclerc and Lorenzo Leclerc. Born under the zodiac sign Libra, Leclerc is currently 28 years old.
Charles Leclerc began his racing career in karting in 2005. He quickly showed remarkable talent, winning the French PACA Championship in 2005, 2006, and 2008. These early successes laid the foundation for his rise through the junior racing categories.

For the 2019 season, Charles Leclerc signed with Scuderia Ferrari. He completed the season fourth in the championship standings with 264 points, finishing one place ahead of Sebastian Vettel. At the 2019 Bahrain Grand Prix, he became the second-youngest driver in Formula 1 history to secure a pole position.
Charles Leclerc claimed his first Formula 1 career victory at the 2019 Belgian Grand Prix. In the same season, he won the FIA Pole Trophy as the driver with the most pole positions, becoming the youngest driver ever to receive the award.
Charles Leclerc continued his strong performances in subsequent seasons and won the FIA Pole Trophy again in 2022. In the 2022 Formula 1 World Championship, he finished second in the Drivers’ Championship, behind Max Verstappen.
Under contract with Ferrari from 2019 through the end of the 2024 season, Charles Leclerc continues to race for the Italian team in Formula 1. He is fluent in French, Italian, and English, reflecting his multicultural background and international career.
