Plot Summary

Raised on the secluded island of Themyscira, home only to warrior Amazon women, Diana (Gal Gadot) is a demigoddess gifted with extraordinary combat abilities. Having never left the island nor encountered a man, her life changes forever when an American military plane crashes offshore. The pilot, Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), is rescued by Diana and tells her of a world engulfed in a devastating global war. Moved by his words, Diana chooses to leave her homeland and journey into the civilized world, determined to use her powers to help end the conflict.

In the film, Gal Gadot portrays the iconic heroine for the second time following her debut in Batman v Superman, fully stepping into the role of Wonder Woman and beginning her own epic story of courage, compassion, and destiny.
