Plot Summary

Venom follows Eddie Brock, an ambitious investigative journalist whose career takes a dark turn after he begins digging into a powerful research corporation run by a morally corrupt scientist. During his investigation, Eddie uncovers a secret experiment involving alien life forms that can only survive by bonding with human hosts and feeding on adrenaline.

As Eddie gets too close to the truth, he becomes the unwilling host of one such organism: Venom. The symbiote grants him extraordinary strength but slowly begins to take control of both his body and mind. While struggling to coexist with this violent and unpredictable entity, Eddie must also evade mercenaries sent to silence him and stop the corporation’s unethical ambitions before they spiral out of control.

Based on one of Marvel’s most iconic anti-heroes, Venom stars Tom Hardy in the titular role. The cast also includes four-time Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams, two-time Academy Award nominee Woody Harrelson, Golden Globe nominee Riz Ahmed, and Jenny Slate.
