Plot Summary

David Aames (Tom Cruise), a young, handsome, and immensely wealthy publishing magnate, seems to have everything anyone could desire. Surrounded by luxury, success, and admiration, his life appears flawless from the outside. Yet deep down, David feels an unshakable emptiness, sensing that something essential is missing despite his privileged existence. Everything changes when he meets the woman of his dreams, Cameron Diaz. For the first time, David believes he has found the missing piece that gives meaning to his life. However, his newfound happiness is short-lived. A jealous former lover re-enters his life and triggers a chain of events that will turn David’s perfect world into a nightmare.
