Story Overview

Prom Night (2008) centers on Donna Keppel, a teenage girl who believes the darkest chapter of her life is finally behind her. Years earlier, she narrowly escaped a brutal attack that claimed her family, leaving the sadistic killer presumed dead. As graduation approaches, Donna is determined to leave the past where it belongs and enjoy a flawless prom night with her friends.

However, the sense of safety she has carefully built begins to crumble when signs emerge that the nightmare she survived may not be over. Unbeknownst to her, the obsessive killer has been watching, waiting patiently for this very night. What should have been a celebration of youth and freedom slowly transforms into a terrifying game of survival.

Blending classic slasher conventions with contemporary suspense, Prom Night explores themes of trauma, obsession, and the illusion of closure.
