Plot Summary

One year after their breathtaking Robin Hood–style spectacles captivated audiences worldwide, Now You See Me 2 reunites the Four Horsemen for an even more dangerous and elaborate illusion. J. Daniel Atlas, Merritt McKinney, Jack Wilder, and the newest member of the team, Lula, return to the stage to expose the dark secrets of tech prodigy Owen Case, proving once again that escape and disappearance are second nature to them.

This time, they are secretly guided by FBI agent Dylan Rhodes, who operates from behind the scenes. However, when Rhodes’s true identity is revealed before the show even begins, the carefully constructed plan collapses, pushing the Horsemen into chaos. What was meant to be a triumphant comeback turns into the most perilous challenge of their careers.

Forced into hiding and stripped of their credibility, the Horsemen must orchestrate the most complex and daring heist they have ever attempted. To reclaim their reputation and remind both their audience and their enemies who the true masters of illusion are, they must outthink forces far more powerful than themselves.

Released in 2016 as the sequel to the globally successful Now You See Me, the film blends large-scale illusion with a fast-paced heist narrative. Directed by Jon M. Chu, the cast brings together Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson, Lizzy Caplan, and veteran actor Michael Caine, delivering a slick and entertaining continuation of the franchise.
