Plot Summary

Eragon is set in a dark kingdom ruled by tyranny, where hope has long been extinguished under the iron grip of the evil King Galbatorix. That fragile hope is reignited when a young farm boy named Eragon (Ed Speleers) discovers a mysterious blue stone in the mountains—only to learn that it is the egg of the last remaining dragon.

When the egg hatches, revealing the majestic dragon Saphira, Eragon’s destiny is irrevocably changed. From the moment of her birth, dragon and rider are bound together for life, sharing a profound spiritual and emotional connection that grants Eragon extraordinary powers and a new purpose.
