Dua Lipa performed on stage at the stadium before the UEFA Champions League Final match between Real Madrid and Liverpool, which took place in Kyiv on 26 May 2018.

Dua Lipa was born on 22 August 1995 in London, England, as the daughter of Anesa Lipa and Dukagjin Lipa. Her family is of Kosovar Albanian origin and had emigrated from Kosovo. Her father was a rock musician. The name “Dua” comes from the Albanian language and means “I love,” “I want,” or “I need.” At the age of 13, in 2008, she moved with her family to Kosovo, and later, in 2010, they returned to London. Dua Lipa studied at Sylvia Young Theatre School in London, where her music and singing career also began to take shape.

At the age of 14, Dua Lipa recorded cover versions of songs by Christina Aguilera and Nelly Furtado and shared them with listeners on YouTube.
At 16, she began working as a model. In August 2015, she released her first single, “New Love.” In October 2015, her second single, “Be the One,” was released. On 2 June 2017, she released her self-titled debut album, Dua Lipa.

As she began to appear as a guest on songs by other artists, Dua Lipa first collaborated with Sean Paul on the song “No Lie.” She later featured on Martin Garrix’s track “Scared To Be Lonely.”

Dua Lipa gave a concert in Antalya on 14 August 2018 as part of the ‘Regnum Live in Concert’ series.

Dua Lipa was in a relationship with musician Paul Klein. She had also been in a relationship with chef Isaac Carew since 2016. After separating from Isaac Carew in June 2019, she began a relationship three weeks later with Anwar Hadid, the brother of Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid.

The single “New Rules,” which reached 1.2 billion views, was released in 2018. On 26 May 2018, Dua Lipa once again performed on stage before the UEFA Champions League Final match between Real Madrid and Liverpool in Kyiv.

On 10 February 2019, at the 61st Grammy Awards ceremony held in Los Angeles, Dua Lipa won the award for Best New Artist.
